My name is Shanice Davidson

I am Shanice Davidson, and I’ve been a GBA Tumbling squad member since 2011. I started gymnastics at the age of 6 but progressed to tumbling at the age of 8. 

My major break through season was in 2011 when I was selected for my first ever World Age Group Championships in Birmingham in which I placed 4th just missing out on the medals by 0.1.

In 2013 at a World Age Group Championships in Bulgaria, I won my first Silver Medal and since went on to win another World Age Silver Medal 2015 in Denmark, a Junior European Team Gold 2016 in Spain and a Senior European Team Gold 2018 in Azerbaijan.

I won the Senior World Silver Medallist 2018 held in St Petersburg, Russia.

I am now a full time coach at Durham City Gymnastics Club, where I also train under my coach Glen Wharton.
